Life Cycle for CanTeen is an offroad 5 day charity ride to the beautiful south west region of West Australia.
The Life Cycle for CanTeen is a 5-day offroad charity ride that raises funds for the youth cancer charity, CanTeen, which supports young people living with cancer. There is also an onroad ride, Life Cycle for Canteen On-Road.
For this ride, you’ll be riding in the scenic Pemberton area. Details have yet to be finalised.
The distance you will ride each day varies (about 75km per day) according to bus travel, campsite availability, difficulty of terrain, available detours, etc. Riders can choose, according to their fitness and skills, from groups of differing speed, group 1 being the fastest and strongest riders who may ride extra distance.
This ride is fully catered, with support vehicles meeting you at various checkpoints.
Transportation by coaches to the start/endpoint is usually provided. This may change due to COVID-19 and social distancing.
Your registration fee covers accommodation (you supply swag or bedding) and food. While trying to offer a fun ride and a challenge to all abilities, fundraising for Canteen is their primary objective.
The Life Cycle for CanTeen Onroad ride sounds like a fantastic tour into parts of WA that are not normally travelled by bike. You’ll also be helping raise money for a good cause, by helping children recovering from Cancer and aiding their treatment.
Registration is limited to the first 75 riders, and there is a wait list. Make sure you do put your name on the wait list if the ride is full, as there is a very good chance that you will get a spot.
You’ll find other great rides, like the Life Cycle for CanTeen Onroad, in our online Cycling Event Calendar.
