The Life Cycle for CanTeen is a 2-day offroad charity ride that raises funds for the youth cancer charity, CanTeen, which supports young people living with cancer. There is also an onroad ride, Life Cycle for Canteen On-Road.
For this ride, you’ll be riding in the scenic Pemberton area. Details have yet to be finalised but riding will include the Munda Biddi Trail between Northcliffe and Quinninup, the Pemberton mountain bike trails and various other rides in the area, visiting some of the tourist attractions and passing through some wonderfully scenic areas.
The distance you will ride about 75km per day with a few climbs. The track does follow the historic rail trail for some distance and other tracks. Riders can choose to ride the track one way with travel back to Perth or Staying overnight and returning on the following day.
Your registration fee covers the cost to transport your non-riding gear ie tent accommodation to Northam and return.
The Life Cycle for CanTeen Offroad ride sounds like a fantastic tour into parts of WA that are not normally travelled by bike. You’ll also be helping raise money for a good cause, by helping children recovering from Cancer and aiding their treatment.
Registration is limited and there is a wait list. Make sure you do put your name on the wait list if the ride is full, as there is a very good chance that you will get a spot.
