If you have a trip planned to Perth, there’s a very good chance that you’ll find some cycling events that give you the perfect excuse to pack your bike!
Perth has a strong cycling community with lots of scenic local trails to explore. Either along the river, into the hills or along the beautiful coastline.
You’ll find good infrastructure for cyclists, with dedicated bike paths and lanes, with the city being connected to the suburbs.
The Perth cycling event calendar is more active in the cooler months of September, October and November (Spring) as well as in March, April and May (Autumn). The weather is more consistent at this time of year, with cooler mornings and an ideal daytime temperature for cycling.
Within Perth you’ll find a mix of single and multiday rides. The multi-day rides either start and finish in Perth with a loop ride. Or they ride out to a regional centre or ride in from a regional centre (with transport organised).
