Tumut Cycle Challenge is a great day out in the Snowy Mountains with great views and plenty of climbs!

Tumut Cycle Challenge is a 1 day cycling event that is held in the scenic Snowy Mountain in NSW. The Snowy Mountains are a popular holiday destination and has some good hills (or mountains) to climb!

This cycling event starts and finishes at the town of Tumut, which is based in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.

You’ll find a number of different rides on offer, designed to meet the needs of all cyclists, regardless of their ability and experience.

• the 20km ride that is perfect for social cyclists and beginners who are looking for a ride that does not tax them too much.
• the 40km ride that is good for those who ride each week, with a little over 200m elevation gain.
• the 75km ride which is designed for the experienced rider with a total elevation gain of over 800m, climbing to the famous Blowering Dam.
• the 100km ride which is for the experienced rider and is on a sealed road throughout, with a total elevation gain of over 1,300m.

Tumut Cycle Challenge raises money for the local Tumut Hospital.

This is a great opportunity to get a weekend away, as there is lots to see and do in this popular tourist area.
