Tour de Rocks is a 3 day charity MTB ride through the central coast of NSW

Tour de Rocks is a 3 day charity mountain bike ride from Armidale, halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, to South West Rocks on the Mid North Coast.

Over 3 days and with over 300 fellow riders, you’ll ride around 260km on sealed and gravel roads (and through the odd creek or two).

From Armidale through the magnificent eastern fall forests, down the escarpment on to the mighty Macleay River winding out to the clear blue waters of South West Rocks.

You’ll be camping and will need to provide your own support vehicle.

  • Day 1 – 94 km Armidale to Georges Junction. (Can reduce this day to 42km, starting at Wollombi School  later that morning.)
  • Day 2 – 79 km Georges Junction to Willawarrin.
  • Day 3 – 83km Willawarrin to South West Rocks

Tour de Rocks is a charity ride, with funds raised going towards the cure, prevention and awareness of cancer within the local community.

This looks like a fantastic event to attend and is a great excuse to take a weekend break as well as support a regional cycling event.

You’ll find other cycling events, like the Tour de Rocks, in our online Cycling Event Calendar.

Enjoy!
