Tour de Froth is a month-long eco tour along the coastline from the Gold Coast to Adelaide

Tour de Froth is a cycling event with a difference. Basically, it’s a month-long ride along the coastline (hence the name – froth from the surf), that starts at the Gold Coast and finishes in Adelaide.

You’ll be riding through 5 states on this tour ie Queensland, New South Wales,  the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and South Australia.

This ride is dedicated to the welfare of the planet and all that inhabits it. The ride organisers hope to raise awareness for alternative and ethical choices that can all make for a better world.

This isn’t a charity event but a portion of profits will also be donated to 2 charities. Project Hiu are dedicated to giving Indonesian shark fisheries and alternative income which is sustainable and focused on protecting oceanlife. The White Bike Foundation exists to educate and protect road-sharers. They believe that everybody has the right to use the road safely and complete their journey.

This is a full catered tour, with vegan food, camping equipment included and a bus for the days where you need a break from cycling. (no rest days are included)

You don’t need to ride the Full Froth (31 days), from state to state (2, 9 or 10 days), a single leg or any combination of days that you like!

This sounds like a fantastic event that is quite unique in regards to how much territory it covers and the fact that it hugs the coastline.
