The City of Armadale Ciclistica is an iconic ride through the back roads of the Perth hills

The City of Armadale Ciclistica is an adventure through the less ridden roads of the Perth Hills, with 4 challenging and iconic rides to suit everyone.

The day starts in the rolling hills of the Armadale city region and includes climbs up Canning Road, Mills Road East, Urch Road, Holden Road,  and Heritage Drive.

You’ll find 4 rides to suit the needs of different cyclists.

The Piccolo Fondo is a 50km community ride that is a flat and easy cycle.

The Medio Fondo is a longer ride, with a distance of 70km on a flatter course. Get the distance without the effort of the climbs.

The Medio Fondo is the middle distance ride that travels a distance of 95km with hills and undulations. It will be a challenge for the novice – intermediate rider,  with a climb in/out of Canning Dam, of about 1600+m.

The Grand Fondo is the signature event with a 120km ride.  This is a challenging ride for the intermediate to experienced rider, with climbs in and out of Canning Dam on Gardiner, about 2100+m. There is also a Sprint and a timed KOM along Heritage Road.

The day starts and finishes in Karragullen at the “Hills Emporio cafe” on Canning Mills road.

By the way, the start is too early to catch the train, but you can do it for the return trip home.

This ride supports PCaHELP, a not-for-profit association run entirely by volunteers to provide information to men and their families affected by prostate cancer and to help promote, educate, mentor and inform prostate cancer support groups.
