Ride from the most Northern tip of Australia to the Southern with Terra Australis Bike Epic

Terra Australis Bike Epic is a challenging 6000 km cycling race from the most northern tip of Australia, Cape York, to the most southern tip, Wilson’s Promontory. This is ultra endurance bikepacking at it’s best!

This race is unsupported ie it is not an organised or sanctioned event. It is an event where you’ll all ride on the same route at the same time. So you will need to carry all of your own camping equipment, food and water, as accommodation and food and water is limited in some locations. The route is 70% off-road through some rugged and remote country with limited services. You can find the rules for this event on the Terra Australis Bike Epic website, but basically, you must ride solo, unassisted, follow the route set, and make your own decisions about when to sleep, eat and ride. There is no entry fee, no prize/certificate/medal for winning or completing the course, just the quiet personal satisfaction of having completed a monumental challenge of human endeavour.

This cycling event is suitable for like-minded well-prepared ultra-endurance cyclists who are looking for a challenge, and the chance to ride with some like-minded people.
