Ride for Maddie raises money for a good cause

Ride for Maddie is a 70km charity ride that is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

This is a charity ride that is organised by Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, which raises much-needed funds for Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome. The charity is named after Maddie Riewoldt died at the age of 26 after a long battle with Bone Marrow Failure.

This cycling event starts at the home grounds of the St Kilda Football Club, as Maddie brother, Nick Riewoldt is a former AFL champion and player from this club. So you’ll be riding from RSEA Park in Moorabbin, along Beach Road into Melbourne City, and then looping back.

This looks like a great charity event to attend, and if your a Saint Kilda fan, your registration fee includes a 3 match pass for St Kilda home games (including Maddie’s Match). Plus the top fundraiser will help deliver the match day ball at Maddie’s Match! A priceless prize for devout St Kilda fans! And a great incentive to fundraise as much money as you can for this important cause!

You’ll find other great cycling events, like the Ride for Maddie, in our online Cycling Event Calendar.
