This cycling event is a paced group ride style tour of the east side of Brisbane to the coast. Starting in Hamilton, you’ll ride past the Breakfast Creek Hotel, over the Story Bridge at Kangaroo Point and head east towards the beach. At Cleveland, a rest stop is called for at about the 40km mark. The group will then collect and head out north to Wynnum and over the Gateway Bridge and back to the start.
At the finish, there’s a few presentations and a BBQ breakfast to help tell a few stories of the day.
This is a challenging day of riding for cyclists of all levels. You’ll be riding in pelotons of around 100 riders, in a group that suits your speed ability.
