Great Top End Escape is your chance to ride through this northern part of Australia.
The Great Outback Escape is a 9-day pilgrimage around the top end of the Northern Territory on a fully escorted bike tour. This event starts and finished in Darwin.
This is a bike tour with a difference, as you will be based in several locations and driven to different locations which you will then explore by bike. You’ll have 8 days of cycling where you’ll be covering 356km on what appears to be mainly bitumen, with some dirt when entering and exiting rest stops and going off the road to do some sight seeing at waterfalls and swimming holes.
Over nine days, you’ll get the unique chance to ride through world heritage-listed national parks like Kakadu and Litchfield, swim in century-old watering holes and immerse yourself in historic indigenous cultures.
