Experience routes through amazing scenery with gravel through the granite with the Gravel n Granite MTB

The Gravel n Granite MTB is a gravel Gran Fondo on gravel for cyclists of all abilities in the rugged and beautiful high country in Tenterfield. Tenterfield is a historic regional town that is located not far from the Qld border.

This is a new event for 2021, that is hosted by the Saddlers Mountain Bike Club Tenterfield, with the assistance of Tenterfield Shire Council, CycleNSW, AusCycling and  CycleSense. This event is supported by grant funding for holding events that will assist in the economic recovery after bushfires, with the local shire having been hit hard by drought, fires, water shortage, and the pandemic. So this is a fantastic opportunity to support a local community that is in need! As well as a great excuse to come and stay for the weekend and experience what the Tenterfield region has to offer.

There are 3 routes – 28km, 65km and 102km – starting and finishing from the iconic Tenterfield Showgrounds, this ride will take you through a variety of road surfaces including bitumen, dirt, gravel and a variety of scenery with some great elevation. There will be event timing over the course, more for safety but who is not compedative?
