Ride the six peaks of Canberra with the Rotary Rides Canberra Five Peaks Challenge

The Rotary Rides Canberra Five Peaks Challenge is a great challenge to ride the six peaks of Canberra – Mount Stromlo, Red Hill, Mount Pleasant, Mount Ainslie and Black Mountain and Dairy Farmers Hill.

This is a 1 day event that started off with just five climbs, with a sixth climb (Dairy Farmers Hill in the Arboretum) added in 2015.  These peaks are all on the edge of Canberra.

You’ll have the choice of 2 different ride lengths: 120km or 88km. With these rides, you’ll also have the option of bypassing the peaks  (a no-peak ride) which means you’ll be riding either 78km (with the longer ride) or 57km (with the shorter ride). You also have the option of bypassing one or more of the peaks on the day. Regardless of what distance you travel, this will be a hard day of climbing.

The Rotary Rides Canberra Five Peaks Challenge raises money for Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children, The Early Morning Centre and Australian Rotary Health, which are all local charities.

This is a great opportunity to discover the hidden local hills and peaks around Canberra.
