Crocodile Trophy is a MTB challenge in far north Queensland
Crocodile Trophy is an 8 stage MTB race that is held in far north tropical Queensland. This event has a reputation as being the most iconic (and oldest) mountain bike stage race.
There are 8 stages to this nine day event, that starts in Cairns and finishes in popular Port Douglas. You’ll be covering 780km with over 13,000 vm.
Over nine days you’ll experience lush rainforest trails, awesome single tracks in the so typical bushland surrounds; you‘ll ride through river crossings and the iconic Australian Outback and you‘ll finish on the breathtakingly beautiful Four Mile Beach.
This event is fully supported with an experienced support crew that includes mechanics, a chef, doctors, physiotherapists, photographers and local experts setting up the daily feed zones out on track. You’ll also be riding with over 100 cyclists from all over the world and Australia. For many cyclists, this race is the challenge of a lifetime and an unforgettable event!
You’ll find other great cycling events, like the Crocodile Trophy, in our online Cycling Event Calendar.
