Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge is a great opportunity to explore Coffs Harbour

Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge is a 1 day cycling event with rides to suit riders of all ability and experience.  This ride is based at Coffs Harbour, a pretty coastal village on the mid north coast of NSW.

The rides  start and finish at Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshores, with categories for elite and recreational riders as well as families and riders with a disability.

You’ll find 5 different rides on offer:

• 165 km ride – For genuinely elite and experienced riders, this route is a challenging ride covering 165kms of twists and turns, up and downhill challenges through forest, farmlands and creeks along the Coffs coast from the Jetty to Bellingen then onto Macksville and return. There is a cut off mark for riders in this distance.
• 100 km ride – For competent and experienced riders, this route is a picturesque ride from Coffs Harbour through Sawtell to Bellingen and return. There is a cut off mark for riders in this distance.
• 60 km ride – This is a perfect ride for the weekend warrior and intermediate riders. The route follows the picturesque 100km ride but returns to the Jetty for an early mark.
• 30 km ride – This ride is aimed at recreational riders and follows a safe and picturesque route from Coffs jetty via Sawtell and return.
• 10 km ride – For families, less experienced or older riders, and disability riders with hand cycles, this route follows the Jordan Esplanade and south along the south breakwall.

The Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge raises money for local and Rotary charities.

This cycling event looks like a great excuse for a weekend away! Plus you’ll be riding through a changing landscape as you cycle through forest, farmlands and along creeks and the ocean.
