Break the cycle of homelessness with the challenging Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Charity Ride.
Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Charity Ride (B2SC) is a challenging ride through the Glasshouse Mountains that reflects how tough life can be for those living on the street.
The B2SC starts at Ruby Robinson Reserve, Wilston with a beautiful park ride of approx. 10kms until we hit Herman’s Hill and on the road to Petrie. First stop of four, refresh, and fuel up.
Then we go for a cruise to Elimbah via Caboolture. Elimbah is halfway and the start of the scenic Glasshouse Mountains road. As we ride through the beautiful rolling hills of the mountains the fresh clean air energises you for our next stage after a short stop at Landsborough. Our final stop will be at Mooloolah where we rest and fuel up for the final stage to Nambour.
The ride starts to climb to 1400m and here your legs will burn but push on as some great downhills are heading your way and the finish is in sight.
One last hill before you roll to the finish at Petrie Park, Nambour near The Shack Community Centre, where we will be greeted by The Shack team and cheers.
This is a challenging ride that is not suitable for a new rider. This is your chance to help change the cycle of homelessness with funds raised being given to The Shack Community Centre in Nambour.
