The Beach to Bush Ride is a challenging 2 day ride through some spectacular countryside

The Beach to Bush Ride is a 2 day challenging ride through spectacular scenery as you ride from the Central Coast to the Upper Hunter. Each year, this ride changes location. The 2019 ride starts at The Entrance, near Gosford,  and rides through south Hunter Valley before finishing at  Scone.

Over 2 days you’ll ride 320kms, with the ride attracting experienced or semi-experienced riders who are comfortable with riding in a peloton.

Day 1: The Entrance to  Pokolbin – 144 km, with 2000+m over the day. The day starts off with  50km of flat road and then the big climb of the day at Yarramalong. Overall a hard day in the saddle!

Day 2: Pokolbin to Scone – 157 km, with 1500+m. Another solid day with lots of undulating countryside. The day finishes with Twilight Family Fun Night in Scone.

A bus is available to transport riders back to The Entrance, after the evening event.

This ride raises much needed funds for Rural Aid’s programs and initiatives.  Money raised will help fund Buy a Bale, Farm Rescue, Rural Counsellors and much more.
