Tasmania offers a European style cycling experience, with a small number of cycling events on offer. You’ll find mountains and lakes that are equivalent to the Alps.

This is a beautiful part of Australia for cycling, especially mountain biking on single-track.

If you like the cycling that Europe has to offer, then you should consider supporting one of these local events.

You’ll find a mix of 1 day rides with a range of distances that cater for the novice, the daily commuter and families through to the experienced weekend warrior.

There’s a range of multi-day events that are either point to point or looped. Many of these are quite challenging and require a reasonable level of fitness and some structured training. Plus they are a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery!

You’re sure to find a ride that matches your level of experience and fitness as well as a ride that will challenge you!
