Iconic Cycling Events Around Sydney

There are some fantastic cycling events in Sydney to suit the whole family.

If you like climbs then you are in for a treat! The most famous climb from Northern Sydney is the 3 Gorges with 1,200 metres of climbing. Other climbs include Mount White with 1,660 m, West Head with 1,300 m, and Palm Beach with 1,100 metres of climbing. All of these climbs are based north of Sydney , which is the hilly part.

You’ll find some single day road cycling rides in Sydney, with some giving you the chance to ride over the Sydney Harbour Bridge (minus the cars).

With the multi-day rides, they will either start and finish in Sydney (out and back or a loop). But you’ll find that some rides will start from Sydney but finish at a different endpoint.

You can also have a look and see if any of the local bike clubs have any group rides on offer. And don’t forget to have a look at all the other attractions that Sydney has on offer.

So have a look at our online cycling event calendar, and see if you can find some cycling events in Sydney to suit!
