Charity cycling events are very popular in Austalia, with over half of the events in this calendar raising funds for different charities. These types of cycle events are very popular and are a great way to give back to the local community.
You’ll find smaller charity bike rides that are fundraising for the local community, with many being organised by local Rotary Clubs. These fundraiser bike rides are often linked to a festival, which is a great opportunity to get away for the weekend and to support small regional communities.
You’ll find a mix of single and multi day events. Some of these multi day events have limited numbers and will require dedicated training. Some of these fundraiser bike rides require a minimum amount of money to be fundraised, with this happening either individually or as a team.
You’ll also find larger charity cycling events in each of the capital cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin), that have become iconic and attract thousands of riders. As well as in regional areas in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory. You’ll also find single day and multi day gravel rides.
So if you’re looking for a charity cycle ride, then you’re sure to find the right one in this list!
