eBikes (or electric bikes) are becoming very popular within Australia, and we are starting to see them included in recreational cycling events throughout Australia, both on and off the road.
eBikes are becoming increasingly more common in Australian cycling events, in both on-road and off-road events. Many events specifically allow or even promote eBikes, and we are also starting to see eBike-specific events appear.
In general, eBikes are becoming more accepted in the cycling community as people are beginning to recognise the benefits they offer, such as making cycling more accessible and enjoyable for a wider range of people.
We have only just started to include eBikes in the Calendar, so please be patient while we update the 300+ cycling events in this cycling events calendar.

You’ll find a list below of cycling events that include eBikes within Australia. Click on the first little grey box to search for rides by the Terrain (flat, undulating, mountainous, mixed), the Distance (1-40, 41-80, 81-120, 121-160, 161+ km), the Type of Ride (12 hr, 24 hr, Bike Packing, Century, Charity, Gran-Fondo, Multi-day, Race, Recreational, Retro, Tour, Ultra and Women only), the Support (Semi-supported, Supported and Unsupported), the Guiding (Guided, Self-guided, Unguided), and the Location.
