For a small city, there’s a lot of cycling events on offer around Adelaide. Enough to make a keen cyclist (like me) consider relocating there if I could find a job!
Adelaide has some iconic climbs that are used for the UCI Tour Down Under – Mounty Lofty, Greenhill Road, Norton Summit, Corkscrew Road and more. TDU have a great guide to all the local climbs.
You’ll find same-day rides that are based within Adelaide itself, and we have also included inside this calendar, rides that are within a 60-70km radius of Adelaide. You’ll also find some multi-day rides that start in Adelaide and either loop back or finish at a different point. Many of these rides are also based around the wineries and locally produced gourmet food.
You can also have a look and see if any of the local bike clubs have any group rides on offer. And don’t forget to have a look at all the other attractions that Adelaide has on offer.
So have a look at our online cycling event calendar, and see if you can find some Adelaide cycling events to suit!
