The York Canola Classic is a great day of cycling through picturesque country

The York Canola Classic is a 1-day recreational cycling event through the picteresque canola fields of York outside Perth. Spring is in the air and the fields are full of canola fields in the Shire of York.

York is located approximately 90km east of Perth and takes about an hour to drive.

The York Canola Classic is made up of two distances, the longer 93km or the shorter 52km. You can ride as an individual or as a team of between 4 to 6 riders.

You’ll be taking a scenic journey from the center of town in York, through to the striking yellow canola fields of the Avon Valley Region.

This event is the perfect way to kickstart your training in preparation for the Tour of Margaret River and the Dams Challenge.
