Tackle one of Sydney’s  toughest rides with  Sydney CC Ride For a Reason

Sydney CC Ride For a Reason is one of Sydney’s most challenging charity rides for experienced cyclists. It is an annual event and is organised by Sydney Cycling Club but is open to cyclists outside the club.

This is a charity ride with funds being raised for Freedom Wheels ‘Children with disabilities’ project for TAD NSW, which enables children with disabilities to ride a bike when it was never thought possible. Many of these children cannot walk but with the help of Freedom Wheels, they can ride.

There are now 2 routes, which means that those who are unable to put in the extra training rides for the longer route can still participate. Both routes start and finish at Centennial Park.

The 207km ride. Elevation: 2700 m. Sydney > Dural > Cattai > Wisemans Ferry > Forest Glen > Berowra Waters > Sydney.

The 150km ride. Elevation: 1950 m. Sydney > Galston> Berowra Waters > Bobbin Head > Church Point > Narrabeen > Sydney.
