A challenging 10 day ride from Sydney to Melbourne

The Red Shield Ride is an iconic 10 day challenging ride from Sydney to Melbourne, that raises vital funds to support the Salvation Army’s network of social and community services. This includes shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis through practical support and financial counselling, and helping people with addictions.

This is a premier cycling event where you can choose from the iconic and demanding 10 day bike challenge or join the 3 day charity cycle. This is a ‘true bucket list ride’ for the endurance cyclist!

You’ll be riding 1400km over 10 days, leaving from Sydney and riding to Melbourne via Canberra, before heading south near the coastline of southern NSW and Victoria near Eden, Sale heading west towards Moe and onto Melbourne. An epic 1,400 km with some iconic climbs that include Mt Baw Baw and Jamberoo Mt.

The registration cost will cover the hotel accommodation, meals, luggage transport and a full cycling kit. The Red Shield Ride is limited to 100 riders, so you should register early or you will miss out. You’ll also need to fundraise at least $5,000 per person (on top of registration).
