The Mudgee Classic is a great weekend away in the gourmet country

The Mudgee Classic is a new classic Gran Fondo style ride that is located in regional Mudgee, about 270km north-west of Sydney.  This classic countryside is renowned for its heritage buildings, wineries and gourmet food.

This ride caters for riders of all ability with 3 courses on offer:

• The Maxi Classic (170km) – for the seasoned rider who is looking for a real challenge as they go through the Munghorn National Park and stunning Bylong Valley on route back to Mudgee.
• The Challenge Classic (110km) – will see riders roll out to stunning Rylstone, perhaps one of the most iconic country towns in NSW.
• The Social Classic (35km) – for the more relaxed rider, where they will enjoy the rolling hills and the smell of wine on a more casual ride.

This is a great opportunity for a weekend getaway and a chance to explore Mudgee’s food and wineries. The event village will feature live music and locally sourced food, wine and beer.

There is a charity aspect to this ride, with cyclists choosing a charity of their choice.
