Cycle South for Charity is a 2 day ride from Perth to Bunbury

Cycle South for Charity is a brand new cycling event, with a 2 day ride from Perth to Bunbury, about 180km south of Perth.

Over the 2 day event, you’ll cycle about 194km, with an overnight stay at Pinjarra (camping accommodation and meals provided).

The ride starts in North Perth, through to Leederville and onto the Principle Shared Parth (PSP) along the freeway road reserve. Going south through the City and down to Baldivis for a rest, then continuing down the PSP to Stock Road and the turn for Pinjarra and the Pinjarra caravan park for the night. With dinner and entertainment supplied all you have to do is pitch your tent for the night and a good rest. And you’ll still have time to find some of the local institutions still open, namely the local Pinjarra Bakery.

The second day is fully escorted as the route goes South along the South Western Hwy to Harvey for a quick stop. Once you’re back on your bike, you’ll be taking the road west to Forrest Hwy and the turn south into Bunbury. You’ll be stopping for a quick lunch, before loading up onto the coach for the journey back home.

This route is a series of undulations on a mostly flat route.

Numbers are limited to 50 riders, so you’ll need to register quickly or miss out!

This is a charity ride with 100% of funds going towards the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, which has been affected by the summer bushfires. All the funds are going directly to the park which means your dollar goes further.
