Bondi 2 Berry is a boutique ride from Bondi Beach to Berry

Bondi 2 Berry is a charity ride along the coastline from Bondi Beach to Berry. Berry is about 150km south of Sydney, and is a popular spot for a weekend away.

This is a small ride that is limited to 100 riders, which means you will need to register early to get a spot. There is a waitlist, so it is worth putting your name on it, as people often change their plans, which means there is a good chance you will get a spot.

This is a challenging one day ride, where you will ride 155km in distance, with an elevation of 1,700m.

The riders will be divided into 6 groups that  are based on your average speed. Group 1 will be riding with an average pace of 30-35km / hour and group 2 riding at an average of around 25-30km / hour. Groups 3, 4 and 5 will be an average of approximately 20-25km / hour.

The ride starts from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast.

Bondi 2 Berry rides to raise awareness of dementia and raises funds for Dementia Australia, with money raised going towards researching a cure for dementia and associated research projects.

This looks like a fantastic event and is a great excuse for a weekend away in a beautiful part of NSW.
